Sweet Lavender Summer

Be STILL my heart! Wow, this was our first visit to a lavender farm and I am SOLD. It was the most dreamy experience walking into this gorgeous little farm. Upon entrance, chickens and roosters, even a white peacock line the white shell pathway to the lavender field. The serenity and overall calm vibes just take over. I will surely be back next July again and again if not just for the good-for-my-soul feels, but to capture the dreamy purples and sunset tones.

There’s something undeniably magical about golden hour—the way the light softens, the air quiets, and everything seems to glow. Add a blooming lavender field to the mix, and it becomes a dream. I recently had the joy of photographing a beautiful family among rows of lavender just before sunset. The soft purples, paired with golden light, created the perfect natural backdrop—no props needed, just nature doing what it does best.
